Bed bugs in room 2 and 11. I was bitten from head to toe, about 50 times! Now reading other reviews this seems to be a feature of the hostel!
You get what you pay for. Super tiny rooms, no night stands or room for bags. Old squeaky bed and bad pillows. One single person bathroom per 10 rooms. Can hear everything going on in other rooms so sleep is not comfortable. Roof leaking in the bathroom. They offer breakfast which I have not tried.
The hostel is in the best area of Medellin in my opinion. The staff is really friendly and you sure will find amazing people to hang out with. Plus it's extremely cheap for the location, that's a real game changer. The things I didn't like: facilities could be updated in general; the rooms have no AC or fan and are extremely hot, so prepare for spending rough nights; the atmosphere was super cool but the hostel was really strict about the the time to put away their tables. Okay if you want to party but not to sleep as itu2019s on a party road.
Staff tried to add on tax twice when we arrived.
Shower room is terribly designed with nowhere to put your clothes without either them getting wet or you walking around naked.
